No wonder this place is so small. I would love this place to grow. Parent to parent helped me a lot when my son was very young. I took a parent advocacy course that helped me a great deal working with the school system. That was in 1992! Nice to see Parent to Parent go online.

So glad to hear that. Wow 1992, most of the help was provided from home. Life is so crazy for families -- that we decided to start the Forum. We just launched our first Webinar Series yesterday. Lots of folks registered and participated. Very excited.
We will be promoting the site on a weekly basis. I counting on families like you to help us get the word out.  Isabel

Yeah,
My son back then was diagnosed with ADHD and Bipolar. At 20 he was diagnosed, additionally, with Asperger's which filled in the gap of unanswered questions I had for so long. My grandson is PDD-NOS (the psychological said he is classic Asperger's, but for the language problem). I now have two to help. This will be a killer site once it get's going. Miami-Dade and surrounding areas are starving for some local support. I'll do what I can to promote the site. I found this site through MDCPS site. Homeschooler's national organizations and private schools might be a good target area. They are the ones that don't frequent MDCPS site much, if not at all.

I'm very excited to know about this forum, Miami-Dade needs it big time. I'm a mother of a three year old, diagnosed recently with autism, of course I have lots of questions very hungry of information about doctors, therapies, activities etc. Thank you Parent to Parent for giving us this space.
