DESCRIPTION:One of the benefits of disclosing your disability is improving your self-image through self-advocacy. Come empower your young adult on how to best disclose their disability to others. Join us for this in person training for both the parent and young adult between the ages of 14-22. We will do interactive activities with the youth to help them explain their disability to others and decide how much is appropriate to disclose. They will also learn how to improve educational outcomes, employment opportunities, and social relationships by disclosing the disability appropriately.\n*The youth MUST attend with parent to participate in disclosure activities during the workshop.\n
