Ana Laura was born in Córdoba, Argentina, studied law and attended art school. Adding her personal experience as a parent of a child with disabilities to her background as a lawyer, Ana Laura has always been motivated by her passion to ensure parents understand the laws that protect the rights of their children.

Ana Laura impacted the lives of hundreds of children and their families during her time on staff at Parent to Parent of Miami. Her joyous and can-do spirit was shared with the families she felt privileged to work with. She worked directly with families to ensure they increased their knowledge, support, and access to resources to reduce the emotional stress that having a child with special needs generates in families. Her work promoted parent involvement and awareness of the needs of children and adults with disabilities, supported the efforts of promoting self-determination, self-advocacy and independent living; all the same things she worked hard to instill in her oldest son, Thiago, currently pursuing a four-year degree. Thiago is an amazing self-advocate and has found his voice to bring disability awareness wherever he goes.

As a mother of four children, she continues to use her personal experience and the challenges faced to support Parent to Parent of Miami and families in our community and is excited to join the Board of Trustees.
