Becoming a stronger advocate for your child starts by understanding special education law. Learn about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) which is designed to protect the rights of students with disabilities and is supported by the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to ensure students receive special education services tailored to meet their unique needs. Stay informed, know your rights, and play an active role in your child’s education.

Workshop is only for families of children and adults with disabilities. Children are NOT allowed in the workshop.
