Disclosure: When and How Should Your Child Disclose Their Diagnosis to Others
Talking about your child’s disability is never easy. How you explain it can impact the way others relate, interact, and accommodate your child’s needs.
This workshop will help you explain your child’s/youth’s disability better to others, decide how much is appropriate to disclose, and how to improve educational outcomes, employment opportunities, and social relationships by disclosing the disability appropriately.
It’s highly recommended that the student attends with parent to participate in disclosure activities during the workshop.
